It’s June, 1968, and Elvis Presley hasn’t performed in front of a live audience in 7 years. This live national television performance, later known as Elvis’ Comeback Special, is an opportunity for The King of Rock N’ Roll to re-establish himself in the music world after being left behind by The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and others. This fascinating documentary tells the story of the life of one of the world’s most dynamic performers, how his career went off the rails, and how this performance could restore the King to his rightful place on top of the music world.
